These kitchen knives are made from high-carbon steel and are a joy to use in the kitchen. The range includes 6 - 7 inch chef knives and 4 - 5 inch utility knives.
Functionality
These kitchen knives have been designed to be comfortable to use and very functional. They are very sharp and will retain their edge.
Blade
Made of 1084 carbon steel, the blade keeps an edge longer than most stainless steel blades and is easy to sharpen. It will patina with age and achieve its own character and can be restored with metal polish. There is a textured carbon pattern covering most of the blade.
A full tang means the blade is integrated into the handle and makes for an extremely tough knife.
Handle
The handle material is made from various wood species, resins and synthetics. The pins are either brass, copper or stainless steel and 4mm in diameter.
